Toyota Digs deep for National Tree Day
Toyota is proud to once again sponsor National Tree Day on Sunday 29 July. Organised by Planet Ark, the initiative aims to promote the community planting of native trees and shrubs across Australia. Toyota and Channel 7 will be running a promotion to raise awareness of this great event, which will feature Toyota ambassador ex-Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins. Popular shows like The Great Outdoors and Better Homes and Gardens will also support this important community event.
As part of our National Tree Day sponsorship, we will be giving away a major cash donation**. TV viewers will be asked to visit www.yahoo7.com.au/treeday and nominate a community-based environment initiative they believe is making an outstanding difference to the environment. Entrants will be asked to describe in 40 words or less why the environmental initiative deserves to win Toyota’s National Tree Day donation. The most creative and original entry will win. The winning initiative will receive a cool $10,000 – as will the person who nominated them!
