With gas prices swinging wildly in the past couple of years, people have been looking for alternatives to gas-guzzling SUVs.

Cuz i was thinking of putting smokestacks on a Pickup or would that be just dum?

is there a way i could customize my corolla n tune the engine and the body kits?
can i find bigger rimes n how big could fit max???
could i install a turbo n increase fuel consumption?
what can i do n chang to make my crappy corolla go faster??

I have just finished rebuilding my engine. I put in the petrol and then try to turn on the car. But it won’t start.

It cranks the engine, then after a while it makes a loud bang/backfire and sometimes you will see smoke from the top of the engine.

I tried moving the timing up and down, but that didn’t get the car started either.

Does anyone know what I can do?
I had a suspicion in was the timing.

I checked the cam gears and they do line up.

Can I do the timing check with a timing gun if the car wont start?

We had to change spark plugs on our car and the person that changed them didn’t calibrate them. Now our service engine light comes on. Could that have something to do with that?

I have a 96 toyota camry 4cyl also a 2000 toyota corolla ce 4cyl. The camry is super loud, it sounds like the piston broke off from the con rod and the con rod is hitting the sides of the cylinder. It is not the lifters, checked them. And now my corolla is starting to make this noise. Any one know? Oh and i am not losing any power… and its not knocking… so idk what it is… i am stumped

now ive been looking all over the place for a wiring hardness for my old celica. and im not getting any luck what so ever. i tried junk yards, wreck yards, online, dealership, shops. etc etc….please help im tring to restore my celica….but the model(gts) i have is very difficult to come across. please help. its a 1986 celica gt-s with the 3sge engine chassy model is st162. thanks…

I have a Toyota Rav4 with 4 power “ports”, but only the one on the dash has power actually running to it. I want to look online for the assembly to run power over to it. I’m sure there is some name to reference with the part but none of my searches bring up the right item. Is it just as simple as splicing into the line running to the dash port? I was hoping for something as simple as plug and play….or something like that.
Its not the cgarette lighter. They actually told me that the new models don’t come with cigarette lighters anymore. It is just for phone chargers and things like that. But its only a blank plug. There is no wiring running to it.
