Hi, I just got a new Toyota Matrix Base Automatic model and was driving on highway today and I noticed that when I drive over 110km/h (63mph) the rev is already at about 2800rpm and at 120km/h it’s about 3000rpm.
My question is does the base model that still use less fuel than the S (XR) model at the same speed?

Hi, I just got a 2009/2010 Toyota Matrix Base Automatic Model.
I am just wondering if there’s a way to turn off the overdrive? or the overdrive is always on with the “D” driving gear?
I have driven a 2003 Corolla and it has an overdrive on/off switch by the shifter, and I am just wondering if there’s such a switch on the new Matrix?
